Trudi discovered the beauty and brilliance of yoga later in life than many. After raising a family, retiring from her career as a pediatric occupational therapist, and moving through some challenging life events, she found yoga and her new life journey began.
Trudi’s practice led her to explore a variety of yoga offerings. Her practice was enriched by participating in yoga retreats at home and abroad. Her love of learning inspired her to earn her 200 RYT. She continued on with advanced study to complete her 300 RYT. During that time Trudi did immersive study in the areas of Ayurvedics, yoga philosophy and history, restorative yoga, Irest nidra yoga, kundalini for adults and children, trauma informed yoga and certifications with Seattle Kids Yoga and is in the final step of certification in Radiant Child Yoga. She is currently enrolled in a 300 hour therapeutic yoga training with Kaiut Yoga. And she continues her training to bring specialized yoga to children and families.
Trudi’s teaching style can be described as gentle, thoughtful, nurturing and eclectic.
Trudi’s favorite quote to remember and live by:
“This too I get to experience.” Norman Lear
What keeps Trudi grounded is staying present, being in community, spending time at the sea and remembering to breathe.
