Three words to describe your practice.
Explore // Nourish // Connect
What calls you to yoga?
Yoga feels like home. Creating space to move the body in whatever way feels comfortable. To move slowly & savor each moment. I’m attracted to yoga because the practice has taught me how to love my body. Each time I step on my mat it feels different & I learn something new. Yoga is art.
What inspires you?
The pattern of the moon. I’ve been in awe of the moon since I was a little girl, always pointing it out to my mother & family. After finishing college, I found myself lost & out of touch with the world. I looked to the moon cycle to help heal & ground me. Following the cycles of the moon has transformed the way I interact with the outside world & I’m forever grateful for this lesson.
How do you stay grounded?
Community. I recently moved across the country from Wisconsin. I needed a change of scenery. Throughout this transition, I have found myself lost & uneasy in my body. In those moments, I reach for my community. Putting yourself out there isn’t always easy, but it’s 100% worth it because you never know who you might meet!
